Anglo-Swiss Tools Overhead
Drive (Belt Tensioning) System
For driving carriage mounted
milling and grinding attachments

The Anglo-Swiss Tools
overhead drive (belt tensioning) system has been developed as
an alternative to the Schaublin
102-95.100 belt
tensioner for driving milling and grinding attachments. The drive
unit is very similar to the Schaublin system and features cast
aluminium blocks with fully adjustable clamping handles and precision
ball-race mounted steel idler pulleys. The system will mount
directly to original Schaublin bench drives and rear of cabinet
brackets featuring 20mm sockets. It can also be employed on other
machines such as Myford and Boxford lathes through the use of
an optional mounting foot. This drive system is an invaluable
addition to the clock restorers or model engineers lathe for
all types of milling, grinding and wheel and pinion cutting operations.
