High precision screw-cutting lathe 102N-VM-CF W-20 / W-25 The Schaublin 102-N-VM-CF is the latest incarnation of the screw-cutting version of the 102 lathe. This machine has a large diameter leadscrew mounted in the centre of the bed and thus protected from swarf and other debris. Feeds are provided through a belt-driven feeds gearbox while screw-cutting pitches are achieved with change-wheels. Stepless spindle speeds between 50 and 3000 are provided by variable frequency inverter drive.
