Schaublin Archive
Schaublin have been manufacturing machine
tools since 1915 and has one of the finest reputations for quality
and precision. Their range of machines has included specialist
automatic production machines for the watch industry, lathes,
milling machines and collets. I have handled a number of Schaublin
machines manufactured between WW2 and the present day. In my
opinion the golden age of Schaublin was in the 1950s and 60s,
the finish of machines made in this era was absolutely outstanding.
